WOW - Midsleading Title! Phoebe Sharp I bought this book specifically for research into buttons from the 1400s-1600s time period. You would think that with a title like About Buttons - From 150 A.D. to the Present, there would be something in there. Not so! It begins with 18th century buttons. Looks like a fabulous book for anyone looking for 1750s on up, but do not spend your money if you are looking for earlier. There is no mention at all of earlier period buttons. This is getting shipped right back.. Shela Simpson said Never again. With this book in your collection I guarantee that you will never, ever, look at the that old button box the same again! How many times have you looked at, but never given close inspection, that old tin of buttons at your Grandma's house? Well those days are over, and after savoring each and every page of this book if you don't run to Grandma's and snatch up her button tin there might well be something seriously wrong with you!
