Not what I was expecting. bbrouder The cover and the description led me to believe I was going to read about a women's summer adventure, instead I got a story about a rude uncaring family. The writing was choppy. I found myself going back to the previous page to find some bit of information I'd missed, only to find I hadn't missed anything the story had jumped to a new thought, scene, or character with no transition. That being said, there where some great ideas and social issues laid bare for the readers examination.. Crazy, and I mean that in the best way possible! Marilynn Bachorik Ahhhhhhh yes, another Suzanne Jenkins INSANE trip through family dynamics. The ins and outs of who loves or resents who, who's cheating, who's certifiable, who's a drunk, and most of all who's to blame. I got this book yesterday and had to force myself to put it down to go to bed because it was 2 am. I grabbed it first thing this morning and couldn't stop reading until it came to its seemingly ridiculous yet completely logical conclusion. Where does she get these ideas? I'm not going to talk abut the plot; that's. "loved this book" according to joanne fuller. I really enjoyed reading this book. It made me sad to finish. I hope there are more. I need to find out if this is a series! :) I am going to look for and read more of Suzanne Jenkins's book
