They Work! John Regan Bottom line, these guides work for me! I'm 46 and a manager at a fire truck dealership. We certify by the EVT commision for establishing qualifications for working on emergency vehicles but need the ASE T-1 thru T-8 to achieve EVT Master Certification. So, I decided to go for it. Although I have never worked on a heavy truck, I do consider myself mechanically inclined and have 20+ years experience in the managment of a fire truck repair shop. I study each book for about 8-16 hours depending on the subject and so far so good as I've scored in the 80's on T3, T4, T5, & T6! Now I'm not the best. Helped me pass an ASE test Dean Colleton Im 21 years old and I passed my first ASE exam these books have a lot of useful study info to help you pass an ASE.I passed my T2 Exam and only missed a couple on the emissions questions. Thats one downfall about using the T2 study guides they dont have alot of information on emissions equiptment to be frank some of that emissions crap should not even be on the test nor an engine its just a waste of time to sit there trying to get the flow in your head of an EGR or DPF system its vary easy but diagnosis is somewhat hard we can all thank the tree huggers out there for emissions laws I agree w
