Wonderful History of the Frick Collection - Highly Recommended C. Hill "Building The Frick Collection" is a very well researched and fascinating look into the creation of the buildings and art acquisitions that make up "The Frick Collection". While only likely distantly related to Henry Clay Frick (1894 - 1919), the collection has held an interest for me ever since I found out about it as a child, so I was thrilled when a good friend mailed me this book sort of out of the blue.This is an excellent history of H.C. Frick, how he built his collection, and a. "Five Stars" according to Gerry. Great information on the construction of the house and museum.
