T. Williams said A most inspiring book!. Danuta and I have been friends for many years so I have lived and heard many of the stories I had assumed would be in her new book. So the instant it was available, I put it on my Kindle. I read it quickly the first time, wanting to get to the parts I knew about. I blazed through her harrowing childhood, her life in San Diego, times with Pat Robertson, finally vineyard peace and absolutely laughed out loud at the surprising twist in the end. Sooo, I read it again, this. This woman is resilient! This is a fascinating read by a woman whose life took many turns along the way to finding happiness in the wine country of Oregon. Danuta's story is one of family, loss and betrayal, with love at her core. I find it difficult to write a review without giving away main points of the book. This book takes you from Canada to Alaska via a treacherous car ride and back, with many stops along the way. I would call this author the definition of resiliency, as many people woul. Too often the public (me included) assume a beautiful, strong woman has everything going for her SunnySD I chose this book because it is the upcoming selection for a book club sponsored by Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at San Diego State University. I remember the author as a TV personality here in San Diego, so was interested in her back story. And what a back story she has! Too often the public (me included) assume a beautiful, strong woman has everything going for her. What a shock that she had so much going against her, yet she made it big (in everyone's eyes). Th
