great book This is one of my most used marks books. It is an excellent book. When you find a mark in the easy to use catalog in back of the book, it will give you the city of the manufactory, then you go to that city-- the cities are in alphabetical order in the body of the book, starting with Aachern on p 11. Once you find the city you will see again a photo of the mark with a full explanation of the mark, history etc. It is a bit of an awkward layout,. Bookfan said Worst ever. I've had this book for about one year and still can't figure out how to use it. If I find a mark I'm looking for, all it says is a city or region, but there's no indication of how to find that city or region in the book or history of the mark. I have read the "how to use this book" a dozen times, but to no avail. Most frustrating so-called reference book in existence.
