"This book is a great reference" according to A Customer. This book covers 20 years of tractor manufacturing in a chronological order. The author picked up where a previous book left off. The author acknowledges his use of the previous author's format in his preface. This book is concise, and the appendices ease searching for specs on nearly all models covered in the book. As I said, this book is a great reference on tractors from 1975-1995.. "Be careful" according to Steven R Brewer. There is some sort of problem with the ISBN number on this book. When you order it from a used book seller you will PROBABLY receive "A Tractor Goes Farming" children's book. I tried 5 times before I finally ordered from the publisher and got the correct book. On several occasions I wrote the seller BEFORE I ordered and asked them to PLEASE check the title (most sellers use the ISBN number to keep track of their inventories). Almost all of the sellers sent me a FORM letter stating they did not have the time to check each individual book.DO NOT BUY from a seller who will not check the title!!!!!!! I did F. It lists all the makes and changes for all models for each year in the same chapter, so if you want to compare the same tractor say from 1975 to 1995 you need to go through 20 chapers. So you have to know what year the tractor is to find informatiom about it, and you have to go back and forth to each year chaper to find the differences. Where by the older books would list each brand separate and show all the differences, for example, say from 1975 to 1995 for Cast then the next chapter would do the same for Fort then White so
