In this case I was less taken by the protagonist's stubborn love of her faithless lover, and slightly put off by all the explicit sex (I would feel the same if it had been hetero). But it is well written with strong characters.. A little disappointing Was the longest week ever - I thought I'd never get to the end of it! Not at all what I expect from an author such as Emma Donoghue - on a positive side it was well written but, on the negative, it borders on the boring, I hope that are not to many "Pen" out there that are in such one-sided relationships!
