Not for everyone * Perfect for a few This book has very limited appeal. It is not a coffee table book. It is a serious, well researched history book. For the few of us that like to get down in the weeds and study the machines and personalities from the beginnings of the automobile industry it is a gem. Full of anecdotes. Amazon Customer said Ford was not the only car builder.. There is a lot more to the history of US car manufacturing than just Henry Ford.A ton more.The story is basically about how the Maxwell Motors was born, evolved, and became Chrysler Motors.Yanik tells us about how the manufacturing of cars got started.
