Mathless microwaves Charles Miller I picked up this book to obtain an understanding of the basic concepts underlying microwave and RF design. It accomplished most of what I was looking for. It gives a good overview of microwave components, their applications, and construction. If falls short on how the components are put together to build real systems. The book has no (and I mean zero) math. In some ways I think it would be more effecti. Excellent aje3892 I picked this book up from the library at school to explain the underlying principles of microwaves in simple terms. My professors always seem to think that the student knows what they are talking about. Most of the time they give vague definitions of the most important parts of microwave engineering. This book will help you understand what the professor is talking about. It covers everything in depth . Very good introductory book!!!! I bought 10 of these books for sales people, managers, and technicians that didn't have a basic understanding of RF technologies. Overall this book is GREAT for the non-technical person. I recommend this book for people that do not work with RF constantly or are new to it. It covers power dividers, isolators, hybrids, duplexers, combiners, antennas, and much more.
