DESCRIPTION:

Great read! Allie K. Page turner with a satisfying storyline, well-written (despite lacking ANY grammar/punctuation/normal dialogue!) I really enjoyed this book and couldn't put it down. Frey can depict a fictional human in an authentic light (except EVERYONE in the story smokes cigarettes, and it's the 90s) I really felt what the protagonist felt--the highs and lows. Just ordered my second Frey book!. "Report for COM Report for COM 435 kizmaias Despite the fact of know that this book was a fiction, I read it. It was actually a lot better because it had scenarios where it could be completely believable that it was real. I think the guy who wrote this book, James Frey, made him popular, yes, but also because he let it slip that the story was nonfiction a lot of people felt betrayed by him. I did enjoy the book though. This product kept me entertained for a couple hours.Actually, I learned that his book is based off of Eddie Little's novels. And the fact that he basically took someone else's writing and re-wrote it is extremely bogus. It is interesting how is Frey . Of course don't read this if you haven't read A Million Little Pieces. The only thing that this book lacks is that two huge spoilers are at the end of AMLP. But I honestly (minus the spoilers) liked My Friends Leonard more than AMLP. Both are a must read.

Surprisingly, the tone feels equally at home with this book's focus on friendship and extreme loyalty, and works to intensify the always-looming, adrenaline-rush threat of violence and the lure of the Fury that courses like a riptide throughout the book. Fresh from a stint in jail from pre-rehab-related charges ("On my first day in jail, a three hundred pound man named Porterhouse hit me in the back of the head with a metal tray."), clean-living Frey returns to Chicago and gets sucker-punched with a cruel blow that will leave readers ducking for cover in anticipation of the blinding bender that's sure to come. Be confident and calm, be f-cking bold. Ultimately, it's a sense of hope, and humor even, that pre
