Another is the versatility of where and how these radios can be used. Low cost, modern QRP radios make it easier than ever to join into the fun
Amazon Customer said Good read. Well written and very informative.. Good beginner's guide to the art of QRP shakes Decent introduction to operating amateur radio at power levels of less than 5 wattssome of the info in this book is pretty basic, and the author's website is not operational, but if you have no idea what QRP operating is all about, then by all means, get this bookall the rest of the links minus the author's are functional as of March 2014and on my kindle fire HD I had no problem with. Foot Wide and an Inch Deep STEVEN J This is by no means an exhaustive treatise on QRP; just a basic primer. The saving grace is Bob Patterson's price point for this book is not rapacious. If you are new to HF QRP operation, this book will help you. a bit. You will learn more by hands-on experience.
