Kenneth G Daniel said Richmond Railroads. This book really covered the past Richmond rail scene with a wide variety of photos and lots of good information on those photos. Great book, Well worth purchasing.. "Enjoyable reading" according to readit. Having grown up in Richmond and having worked for the railroad, I found this a great read and very informative. Good photos and will be appreciated by railroad history buffs.. Rail history of the mid-sixties Nice book, but focuses on rail photos from the mid-sixties. No mention of the deep, deep rail history of Richmond from the origins of several now-major roads to the Alco Richmond Works. I was disappointed.I recommend instead McKenney's Rails in Richmond or any of the several books from Morning Sun and other publishers about the specific roads in Richmond.
