If you need the book for restoration purposes or simply for telling which Corvair year your dealing with, the bounteousness of details is what makes the difference. Exterior and interior trim, stainless, moldings, emblems, upholstery, hubcaps, steering wheels, body panels, paint and production options - it's all there for comparison and distinction. Compare the cars within one model year or cars from different years, the book won't let you down. I greatly enjoyed it. Now I'm ready to buy a Corvair.. Just like the 2nd half of the title says: it's a restorer's guide L.A. Biker Nobody who isn't a complete Corvair nut or is involved in restoring a Corvair for concours entry needs (or even really will want) this book: it is pure and simply a listing of the cosmetic design & detail differences of Corvair models during the span of their production.
