S. M. Toon said The Internet Book. The condition of the book was worse than it had been described. A profound crease was on the front cover of the book running the length of it and some pages have become unglued. I needed this book for my online MLS class. I like to keep my textbooks, but I'm not sure this one will make it through the class. Coverage of the subject of computers and the Internet is very thorough and why my professor chose this old book.. MBA Text JPDINNJ This book was required reading for an MBA class. The simplicity of the technical explanations, as well as the simple diagrams make it an easy book to understand. There are a few places where I wish the author would delve a bit deeper, on the topic of security as one example. Overall though, a good book for those who need a basic understanding of internet technology.. "You're no "dummy" but new? This one's for you." according to Wendy. He's the leader in his field. I've used his books for teaching and as referrals. He's so readable but does not talk down to you like the silly "dummy" stuff. You'll be so glad you gave this a try.
