With the procedures Ming used I was able to play and help my team in our playoff run that season. I had never experienced the things he did with me, and I know they were cutting-edge techniques. He really helped me." --Jason Kidd, New Jersey Nets"When I first met Ming Chew, I knew he would fix my bad back when no one else could. “TMJ” • Sciatica • Sports injuries • Chronic aches from poor posture and long hours at a desk • Carpal tunnel syndrome • and more!. SK Chan said From a BJJ practitioner's POV. I bought this book after reading the reviews on Amazon and was not disappointed. My main source of exercise is from practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (which Ming also practiced), and once in a while I develop tightness and pain throughout the back/side of my neck and shoulder that cause tingling and numbness down my arm. The last time this occured, I was in pain for almost two months. Tui na and acupuncture helped in the short term, but after leaving the clinic, the tightness would quickly come back and I would experience pain again; I wasn't getting permanent healing from these treatments. Out of desperation, I was able to find this b. A must read for anyone with habitual soreness. Nicholas M. Evans I bought this book after being virtually crippled by a stress in my heel. I researched for weeks trying to figure out how to help this issue I had (I was unable to push off with my right foot when walking). I found this book on google books and began reading about it. I found it interesting because of it's knowledge of fascial tissue (yes fascial not facial). If you have never heard of fascial tissue this book is a must read to understand how pain can be relative. I am 21 years old and have had chronic sore knees for the past 3 years. I use to manage the pain with otc pain medicine like Ibuprofen. I was never happy to live on someth. Sadie Johnson said This is by far the best book I've ever read on pain management without pills. This is by far the best book I've ever read on pain management without pills.
