About the Author I would like to give you a little history of my background. Currently, I am in a V.A. . As I lay here in this hospital bed, dealing with cancer, I hope I did my best in terms of writing to convey my thoughts and beliefs of how the 12 steps of recovery work in their spiritual sense. This is causing semi-paresis from my hips down through my legs, with severe nerve pain. The cancer is in several areas of my body, more specifically on my spinal cord. I am in the Palliative Care Unit as I am dealing with terminal cancer. Hospital in the Midwest.
