DESCRIPTION:
Alcoholism Rachael I really liked this book because it gives the reader a lot of insight about alcoholism and the effects of it. It hit me on a more personal level because alcoholism runs in my family. I enjoyed reading about it and understanding more about the problem and how to try to fix it. I think this book is a very helpful book and I would recommend it to others who have been exposed to alcoholism in anyway.. Suzanne said Wrong author listed. This book was written by Dr. Alan WilloughbyNOT Teena! Dr. Willoughby directed an alcohol recovery program and was the chairman of the Psychology Department at the University of Rhode Island. This book was used as a text book for an alcohol course he created and taught. This book was ahead of the times and is relevant even today. Not all alcoholics are homeless, jobless, etc. So many alcohol troubled people fun. "Wrong author" according to Cleo. This book has the wrong author attached to it I knew the writer very well and the woman they describe is not the one. I have a copy of this book that Alan had given me. This is a mistake that should be corrected. maybe the same last names messed someone up. This would also never sell for $72.00. Thanks youCleo
