Alex Amazon Customer This is the good book, it has the same content as an American edition. Some data of tasks differ from the original book, but it is not big deal. Thanks.. Terrance R. Banach said Great Fluid Mechanics Review. This comprehensive text covereing fluid mechanics by Robert Mott is an excellent means to review basic fluid mechanics. The text, example solutions and diagrams are easy to follow in spite of not having examined the principles of fluid mechanics since the mid 60's. Mr Mott provides sufficiently detailed solutions and discussions.. alex s said Good book.. This book was the assigned reading material for my engineering technology course. Its primary purpose was to give us an `introduction' to fluid related concepts, and in that area I would say it was very successful. This books writing style is extremely easy to follow, and unlike some of my other textbooks was actually enjoyable to read. It provided step by step instructions on how to solve problems, and also offered more than enough problems for the students to solve themselves. The only issue I have with this book relates to the rat
The 7th edition offers new real-world example problems and integrates the use of an online downloadable demo of world-renowned PIPE-FLO® software for piping system analysis and design. Full-color images and color highlighting make charts, graphs, and tables easier to interpret organize narrative material into more manageable “chunks,” and make all of this text's content easier to study. Teaching and Learning Experience This applications-oriented introduction to fluid mechanics has been redesigned and improved to be more engaging, interactive, and pedagogically effective. Completely redesigned in full color, with additional pedagogical features, all designed to engage today's students: This edition contains many new full-color images, upgraded to improve realism, consistency, graphic quality, and relevance. It presents new procedures for problem-solving and design; more realistic and higher quality illustrations; and more coverage of many topics, including hose, plastic pipe, tubing, pumps, viscosity measurement devices, and computational fluid mechanics. Provides more hands-on practice and real-world applications, including new problems: Includes
