"Chiltons > Haynes" according to Zachary Nelson-Yurt. Chilton's is the best bang for the buck and is always much more detailed than Haynes.. A Useful Purchase R. Lamson Surprisingly, this book has been helpful when my "101 Performance Projects" and Bentley didn't quite give me enough information. The three manuals have been absolutely supplementary, and missing any one of them would have made my work a bit more difficult. I'm an amateur at most jobs I take on for my 1995 BMW, and have so far satisfactorily completed each task. I should add, "at a fraction of the cost of using a professional mechanic.". Philips Wong said Missing a lot of stuffs. This book is just too simple. Good for the know-how's and for the preventive maintenance works, simply too simply and not detail enough for further BMW specific kind of works. Rather to spend little more money for a better shop manual than getting this 'reference' book.
