I bought this book to learn how to do the simpler things on my Corvette (I'm not a professional mechanic) and it fits the bill wonderfully. It has a lot of detailed pictures and procedures that are easy to understand and follow. I don't know that I'll try and rebuild the engine using their procedures (too complicated for me) but it does give you an overview so if you do have to take it in you at least know what the mechanic is talking about or going to work on.
