About the Author David Underwood is a graduate of Toccoa Falls College, in Toccoa Falls, GA where he and his wife prepared for full time pastoral ministry. An interesting and honest story Michael D. I ordered this book not knowing what to expect. From my experience it is rare to find a cop who used to be a preacher. If you want to read a book that takes you through the personal life of an individual who makes such a transition, this book is for you. David Underwood provides a candid look into the life of a preacher who eventually follows his passion and becomes a law enforcement officer. Never a dull moment in this book. I found the book to be entertaining as well as informative on many aspects of law enforcement. You will walk away with a prof. Wonderful Insight This book was a gift from a close friend. I have spent my entire adult life in law enforcement and it was reassuring that other officers have faced some of my "personal" struggles in trying to follow God's will and serving in law enforcement. I found the author to be very honest in self reflection, particularly with the insurcurities that plague most people including officers. The author painted a surprising contrast that I found to be humorous, insightful and thought provoking. A great weekend read!
