Suspending disbelief but a very sweet read ATTENTION: SOME SPOILERS CONTAINED IN REVIEWI have not read many straight/gay men stories. Gavin Campbell is the out and proud gay man who owns the bakery "Delicious". He is easy to like, extremely hard working and a good businessman. His businessman acumen attracts Ben, the "straight" man banker with whom Gavin has his business loan.The idea for a bank campaign showing successful clients is what draws Ben and Gavin together. During the photo shoot, Ben accidentally is in the way and causes Gavin to trip. Gavin breaks his foot and Ben feeling guilty consciously decides Gavin. E L-G said A really good read.. Both the men in this book had great character arcs. Gavin is first introduced in another Riley book, "Someday", which isn't necessary to read to enjoy this book -- but he has a great journey here of letting go of his self-sufficiency and trusting others to help him. I really enjoyed Ben's development in this story. I found his discovery of his sexuality very relatable: he has always thought of himself as straight, and instead of questioning why he's never felt very passionate about the women he dates -- he just assumes he's a person who isn't passionateuntil this great momen. Opening with the whole bank set-up seemed to be the start of one type of story, but then we switch to the bakery and it seemed to be another type of story. I think it took about 5 chapters before the two main characters and story lines started blending together. But once that happened, quite a delightful story developed. Now, I will say that the family dinner when the young banker finally accepted that he was in love with the banker was a bit anti-climatic for me. It was just sort of put out there so to
