Laughed a lot This is wierd and funny little book. It's told in a silly, 1st-grade reader tone and makes fun of the people who live in Flordia.. Annoying- Not Funny Daerius Eating at Arby's is not really funny, and embraces every stereotype existing about the people of South Florida. Not entertaining in the slightest, unless you are a simpleton who is predisposed to broad-based stereotypes about Jews, blacks, Cubans, gays and others who make up the population of Fort Lauderdale. Don't bother!. Lori Oller said The style of writing is like a first graders. I could barely make it through the first couple of chapters. The style of writing is like a first graders. I know it's suppose to sound like old people but, this is just to much for my brain to handle. I did like the references to all the places that I grew up with in South Florida.

A lawyer, computer education consultant, nutritionist, and college professor, he has published articles in The New York Times, The San Jose Mercury News, The Miami Herald, and People.
