A fascinating look at our fascination with makeup I've been a huge fan of Lisa Eldridge for several years, and eagerly pre-ordered this book when it was first available for pre-order several months ago. When Eldridge first revealed more details about the book, I had initially been disappointed that this was going to be more of an overv. "Beautiful & Stunning History of Makeup" according to I'm An Amazon. Lisa Eldridge is my favorite makeup artist – HANDS DOWN. She gives a brilliantly written history of makeup accompanied by stunning photographs. A must buy if you're into art, history, and makeup.. Lisa Eldridge is amazing! Lisa Eldridge is truly iconic! This book is absolutely stunning. It is thorough, well written and beautifully photographed. If you're a fan of makeup, women's history or cultural anthropology this makes a great addition to your personal library. If you haven't checked out her videos, yo
