Thoroughly Researched I am still reading this book. It is obvious that the author has conducted an enormous amount of research into this topic. He labors to layout a clear picture of what life was like in England during the 1100s and the role and impact of the Church upon English society at that time. I would gladly recommend this book to anyone with a serious interest in the history of timekeeping and the development of timekeeping technologies.
