Buy one of Tom's books but not both LIke some of the other reviewers I am disappointed with this "reprint" under a new tittle. If I had not bought/read "Sink or Swim" I'd have been impressed. I don't think there was enough new stuff in it to bothered - even though I had hoped otherwise.. "You know how to do it, now do it better." according to Christopher T. Dahle. Not a beginner's book, but well done. To be clear, I am no master at metal work, but from my perspective as a general shop teacher, this book contains tips, tricks, and pointers that will improve your workflow, speed, and quality. Mostly it is beyond what I need or want to do, but it's pretty well thumbed and greased, so the kids who are interested in metal work are reading it.. I think this is almost perfect for someone that has little to NO shop/garage experience I think this is almost perfect for someone that has little to NO shop/garage experience. For me I wish it were a little more advance but very easy to read great pictures and great tips
