DESCRIPTION:
Question for the Author Can't really rate it at this point, other than it seems to give what is promised. One thing I can't find is the email address that is supposed to be available if I need any help along the way. I don't want to start without it.. waste of money! Poorly written, no diagrams, no pics of project. Pics are of items just cut and pasted from ads most likely. I feel ripped off! This book leaves you wondering if the writer has ever really done this himself (I say not!) I have never written a negative review but I feel the need to warn people to save their money. Self-Sufficient Solar by Warren McMillon is 2.99 and is jam packed with pics, diagrams and useful information and you can tell he has actually done this.
I worked with pcb's for years with a soldering iron that had a pinprick style tip and the best silver solder money could buy. You can order all your parts from this file in one day and without worry that you are on the wrong road, ordering wrong parts, having to send them back, wiring things the wrong way, blowing things. This is a disaster route even for highly experienced solderers like myself. This is a no no. You will be stumped at fault finding as corrosion will hit many parts at the same time and will become intermittent faults -the worst kind !. If you go to youtube and see the way people are building their own, then you may believe that it is a good way to save money. Now this cd will put you straightThis cd was made after spending at least $2000
