Good read, but a little tough to get through in places Finally completed this book while on vacation after reading it in "spurts" over the weeks before I left. I liked the book - it was an interesting read. I haven't read Joe Sutter's book as some other reviewers have, so I can't compare it to that book. Like others said, you do have to go through a lot of background material on Boeing's previous projects (both the successes and the failures) in order to unde. Five Stars Ricardo V. Great book. Lots of insights into Boeing's way of making planes. Strongly recommended.. Peter Bergman said If you are then you will enjoy it. Someone had to come up with the. You will need to be keen. If you are then you will enjoy it.Someone had to come up with the design of the pods, the double isle and the double deck concepts. Great to read who and how but it is not a story as such. Great read for aviation sponges.
