I think that it assumes that you wont read the book from cover to cover because it repeats some of the information several times throughout t. An absolutely superb book--very highly recommended! I picked up this book because of it's alluring cover, and wasn't expecting what was inside. I have always been fascinated by history so I expected that a book on Leonardo would be interesting and worth my time. I wasn't prepared for the stunning pictures
