It is detailed enough to satisfy your curiosity regarding some of the details, yet it is written in a manner that has proven easy to read.I have found it very useful to read this book, then search for and read the technical papers Mr. Lebeck has written since 1991.. Ed Wilcox said Principals and Design of Mechanical Face Seals. The book provides an excellent look at some of the more technical aspects of mechanical seal design. It is a very good reference for any rotating equipment engineer. While it has some very intricate details, it does provide a lot of real word applicable knowledge.. Mechanical Seal W. T.
