Amazon Customer said Absolutely Riveting! Informational without being sensational.. What a refreshing true crime novel. The author focuses on the people instead of the violence. You get a feeling of who the victims were along with the perpetrator. I believe that the author bent over backwards to give both sides of the story using actual evidence instead of rumor! Well worth the read whether you are interested in the crime or the laws & changes from the 1950's to the 1970's.. Reada said Painfully inspiring. This was such a well researched and explained version of a story the media was so biased on. It's heartbreaking to see a life taken away and one of someone who was so kind and gentle. It was a book that helped me see something in myself that I was keeping imprisoned. I appreciate the work the McArthur men did on Caril's behalf and that they made it public.
