The title is a bit misleading, in that it doesn't just apply to the love addict. This book is great for the new couple and the couple who has been together for years or even a single person looking to get into a healthy relationship.I truly believe this book should be read by every person attempting this thing we like to call a relationship.You won't be sorry you bought this book.. I read this book the first time about 25 years ago to help me understand what was going on with my alcoholic husband. It made a lot of sense to me and truly changed my way of thinking.
