"The Book of Eleanor" according to "ABQ Bookworm" @ Kayro's Korner. I have to take exception to the review done by cmurph, as "The Book of Eleanor" is not as she purports it to be in her diatribe. I guess I have to ask, if there is no light house on South Padre Island does it really matter? This IS a book of fiction, is it not?What stands out to me is the story itself. The typical formula is here, (as it is in most lesfic books) but there is a uniqueness i. booksnthings said a good ghost story. I like a good ghost story, and sometimes it's hard to find that in a paranormal romance because the romance usually overwhelms the paranormal part. For me, a ghost story should have chilling moments, fleshed-out characters, mystery and a plot that's engaging enough to make you stick with the book. The Book of Eleanor has all of those elements. I read it in three successive nights and it ma. Nat"s best! Loved this book. It is my favorite. Cmurph is actually an insane ex who is trashing Nat an has probably not even read the book. Some prople are pathetic in their childess attempts at revenge. She can say what she wants but the reader can see first hand why this book did indeed win a well deserved, well earned Goldie. And by the way technically Carol is right. I mean cmurph. Oops.The light
