There's no replacement for hands on practice, but as far as understanding different welding processes, this is the book to have.. Five Stars nice book. A great book. Very well done. A must read on what can be a complex subject. I have been building and fabricating hot rods and kit cars for some time now. And these projects always involve welding. I know there are a lot of books out there on the subject, but this book, “Weld Like A Pro,” by Jerry Uttrachi is by far one of the best on the market.
