Steve's first foray in the rag trade was in 1958 as an infant model in a Western industry fashion show. Today he heads the company and is responsible for all design of the brand's many lines. A 'must' for any who either collect or love the Western shirt style.. An invaluable resource and a great read as well. Rand Satterfield I collect western shirts both vintage and modern. This book, co-written by the grandson of Jack Weil who basically invented the modern western shirt, is the best and pretty much only book on the subject. This is an impressively produced book. Very high quality and lavishly illustrated. I've read it several times and always enjoy it. As a resource for collectors it's a great help. Comprehensive histories on the major brands and an exaustive listing, with photos, of known labels that really helps in dating a shirt. Even if your interest is only casual this book is well worth the money.
