Real life and and a really good read. Westy 5 This memoir was so well written and difficult to put down. I read it in two sittings. The author is so gifted in expressing her feelings as her story unfolds. It was very emotional as I could feel her her pain and wanted her to find happiness.. "I won't do the book justice, but I'll try" according to Jody Ingle. This book is lovely and beautifully written. You will feel Carrie's pain from denying her authentic self for so long as well as the suffocating guilt that haunted her. You will breathe in deep and feel the mountain air as it rushes past her face in the moments of freedom and exhilaration on her bike. You will ache for her and her husband - two wonderful people that love each other but struggle against circumstances neither can control. You will love this book. I did. I read it cover to cover and still find myself, days later, thinking about it and hoping for good things for all the people involved.. Awesome and engaging.
