DESCRIPTION:
It provides tips on how to deliver a manufacturable model that is modifiable for change and offers techniques for evaluating a design problem and determining the most appropriate technique(s) before modeling begins. This in-depth guide helps make the creation of complex surface geometry more intuitive by leading the reader through practical examples of high curvature surface construction. This book is a valuable reference for casual or new users of Pro/SURFACE, as well as users looking to develop more effective surface modeling standards.. Styling issues are outlined, such as highlight lines, lines of sight, and tangencies
Inside ProSurface ??? humm This book is well written but not meant for beginning users of ProE. The creation of surfaces requires the designer to create datum features which more advanced surfaces can be created with. The book dose a poor job discussing the creation of datum features. But if you are a intermediate level user o. A Customer said An excellent guide to learning Pro/Surface. I recently finished the book, and I learned quite a bit from it. If you want to be taught exact command sequences to perform specific modeling tasks, this may not be the book for you. If you do not mind a bit of work and experimentation, which leads to a pretty thorough knowledge of Pro/Surface, this. A Customer said Definately not worth the time or price.. If you are already familiar with surfacing this may not be a bad book, but for someone trying to learn, the applications are very weak, and presume the user has more knowledge concerning the art of surfacing than a newcomer to this area of modeling could have.
