The author left Illinois as a very young boy in the 1890s, ended up by train in Oviedo, Florida, and took a wagon to his house around Lake Mills in Chuluota. It was fascina. Fine book Wendy This book should be republished. It's a fine recapitulation by a talented naturalist who communicates well. Wish it were not so hard to get..
