Well written as it is academic yet easily accessible. I'll be keeping my copy after my class has finished. Obviously, I got this for a class as required reading, but I found that it was actually very well written and covers both historical and current issues. It is also written in an accessible manner yet still academic which is a tough balance to achieve. It is something I could loan to (intellectual) friends without them being aware that it is a textbook immediately, and that they would have no problem reading without bec.
