Worth your money, in depth information. Judith Challis I really love how this book is put together. It helps you figure out your stage as an artist and what successful artists are doing at that stage. Lots of food for thought as well on creativity and creating a body of work.. Informative Read with Insight into the Art Industry Belle I would classify myself as an amatuer artist (according to the defintion in this book). I have some talent. While this book does a good job of making me consider selling my art, I do not think that I have the dedication it takes to be a professional. This book truly is the textbook for the art business. I would have rated this 5 stars if I felt that it was more applicabl. Being an artist can be a full time job! Being an artist can be a full time job! I paint! But I couldn't imagine making it my full time, real job, until after reading this book. Using the good information in this book, it can be done. I like the phrase that art is purchased, not sold. How true that is. We buy a painting or another work of art because we like it, not because someone is trying to sell it to us.
