I fell a little bit in love with both these characters and their connection by the end of Something in Return. It was bittersweet to put the book down once I was finished; it left me wanting more."- Zoe Grimm, The Vodka Press

Very enjoyable! The old one! I really liked this book. It was predictable but what a great journey! Characters were well developed and fun people. First time reading anything by Ms. Rivera but just downloaded another. Easy to read and never a dull or boring moment. You will love this book!. something in return Sue You know sometimes you just want to read a feel good book. I'd say that this is one of those kind of books. The story of two young girls who have had their first lovesand than been disillusioned by it. It's true to life, you know where your getting thru life and think there's noting more but what you have, then by one change, in this case by adding one new roommate.Taking that one step forward everything starts to shift into a different direction. And then a whole new world of possibilities come to life. Trust builds, love finds it way. The book left me all warm and fuzzy inside.. Thoughtful book about love and selflessness Robert Uttaro, author of To the Survivors Michele Rivera nailed it again. As a follow up to Rivera’s first book, “Taking the Lead”, her second book “Something in Return” is another great book about love. “Something in Return” is an easy read that will make you laugh and provide hope in love, relationships and life. Even though this is a fiction book, there are many real life lessons that can be learned and incorporated into our own lives. Love is a central concept in this book, which is so refreshing given that true love can be hard to experience and sometimes hard to believe in. People need love, but not everyone knows
