Eric Ross does a wonderful job in his book "My Uncle's Wedding" at showing there is absolutly no difference between a wedding for a same-sex couple and a wedding for a heterosexual couple. The focus is on the nephew and all he is going through in helping them plan the wedding and in being a part of the wedding. The exact same book could be written about a heterosexual couple getting married from the perspective of their nephew. No politics, no emphasis on what is common vs what is different about this wedding or this couple just a simple story about a beautiful wedding.
