A must-read on Vernadsky. Mathew Thomas Great, great book. Vernadsky's contribution to Russian science and world culture is greatly under appreciated. Vernadsky is an intellectual giant with few equals. This book is invaluable in bringing Vernadsky to English speaking audiences.. Forgotten genius excellent book, good research was done but too little of the science was included in this biography. Highly advise a reading
