"book i have ever read and i am extremely glad i did" according to zoe Lomas. This is quite literally only the second poetry book i have ever read and i am extremely glad i did. What impressed me about this book is that the author used experiences in her life that most of us can relate to and wrote about them in a way that was easy to comprehend and follow and also gave a snap shot into some very emotional and sometimes traumatic events in her life.Will be looking out for more books by Chris Parsons and recommending her to friends and family.. Incredible depth of feeling, beautifully and simply expressed I have not even finished this short book of poetry. But already Chris Parsons has impressed me with the depth of her feeling, the beauty of her metaphors, the way she puts us inside her own experience. This book is a must read.. FANTASTIC Shylah Gipson This book was written by someone I absolutely adore. Chris' poems about life and love and living are ones EVERYONE can relate to in some way. This book makes me laugh and cry at the same time. Chris is so prolific, so descriptive, so adept at pointing out the humanity we all face. and that is something which will affect anyone who reads these writings.
I sincerely hope that you enjoy these poems as much as I did writing them. I hope they take you, via your memories and imagination on journeys. I hope you collect not only smiles but tears as you read, for if you do, then I have succeeded in what I set out to do.
