David shares his many hardships in such a way that is deeply personal, yet clearly empowering. Throughout his book, David inspires others with his dogged determination and deep faith. Though hit with many struggles and setbacks, David chose not to wallow in self-pity, but to power through. "One man's experience" according to JohnnyB. Not my AN experience at all, but a well-written book nonetheless. David definitely went through a lot on his AN Journey. I wish he would have had doctors who informed him of what "could" happen; since a lot of it did. This book has lots of tips that will be helpful to those who are diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma, but remember this story may not be yours so read it with a grain of salt. Lots .
