Wow!!! This book is an unbelievable find! As a studying and practicing Herbalist this book was recommended by a friend and it is amazing. It is the Deluxe edition so it will last for many many years to come. There are 2 negatives with this book, if you can call them that. 1) The book is very heavy. This is not for the light reader to take and go . A Book that is truly THE benchmark A Customer This book - the 1633 revision of the 1597 "classic" - is truly THE benchmark for any herbal to follow. With almost 3000 listings and about 2700 illustrations, it is far closer to "complete" than any work I have yet seen under 1 cover! It lists under botanical, Latin, folk and English names.
