"excellent for students" according to Kristin Eckland. This is a great book for students or anyone interested in 20th century costume. I found it to be a wonderful reference, with lots of photographs to illustrate the fashions of the times. I used several of the photographs to design clothing when patterns were otherwise unavailable.
